Education is fundamental part in order to improve the quality of life. However, access to education in remote area is still fairly minimal. The problem of limited access in remote areas is not just a government responsibility but also the community. This study focuses on the non- government organization Book for Mountain which is part of the participating communities that bridges the problem of education in remote areas. The purpose of this study is to investigate an analyze non-government organization Book for Mpountains in expanding educational access in remote area. This research applies the following theories: Public Relations, campaign, non goverment organization, the role of public relations in non- goverment organization. This research utilizes a descriptive qualitative method using in depth interview with 3 internal speakers and 4 external speakers. It is also supported by secondary data research of books, journals, corporate data and internet sites. The results show that the campaign conducted by the Book for Mountain on expanding access to education in remote areas do various activities are informed through a variety of media to build awareness, generate concern, and changing behavior to participate. The academic recommendation is that this study is open for further research and practical recommendation are to segment, select media of campaigns, and conduct formative evaluation in order to measure the success of the campaign.
