On Monday, May 19th 2014, Prawit Thainiyom, a research associate from University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership and Policy, visited Prof Margono Research Centre for a closed discussion on conceptualizing a collaboration research project in social media. Discussion was held from 11am until 4pm with RC staffs and lecturers whose research interest in human trafficking, as the project proposed is on this issue within social media context. The research project started on mid May and will finish on September, focusing on the content analysis of human trafficking in social media, with the utilization of DiscoverText, a cloud-based text analytics solution.
