Social programs in health care is one of the CSR programs implemented by PGN and held the Free Cataract Operation Activity of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU I in Jakarta 2013. Program aims to improve the welfare of the community and reduce cataract patients in Indonesia. The objective of this study was to evaluate how the PGN communicate their CSR programs. The theoretical framework used is the theory of Communication Strategy and Public Relations. The method used in this study is qualitative summative evaluative methods using in-depth interviews to the internal speaker and document analysis from company annual reports, websites, and reports Free Cataract Operation Activity of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU I in Jakarta 2013. Based on the analysis of the study, it was found that PGN is not doing some Communication Strategy and Public Relations functions in communicating its CSR program. The result evaluation of communicating its CSR programs have not been good and maximum. The implications of this research, PGN should improve their CSR programs by linking in Communication Strategy and Public Relations functions as a whole.
