ASEAN Centre for Public Relations Studies (CAPRS) once again held a Coffee Break with ASEAN Focus Group with the theme of “Creative Industries, Digital Technology, and ASEAN Opportunities.” The event was held on February 27, 2015 at the Rafael Jolongbayan Room, Campus B LSPR Jakarta attended not only by S1 students from LSPR, but there are also students from Post Graduate Program of LSPR, Universitas of Indonesia, Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr Hamka, Telkom PDC, Universitas Sebelas Maret, and Bina Sarana Informatika. The event was organized by Research Club and Youth Diplomacy Community has the aim that students are aware of condition creative industries in the digital world and their chances in the ASEAN market.

There are two speakers who filled this discussion session, the film director and co-producer of the MD Entertainment, Dian W. Sasmita and Entertainment Manager of Southeast Asia at Microsoft, Widi Asmoro. This discussion was guided by Hersinta, M.Si-LSPR Lecturer as moderator. In his presentation, Widi Asmoro explained the cultural changes that listening to music from the conventional way is to use tapes turned into a digital way is by streaming. While the presentation Dian W. Sasmita discussing the Indonesian film, she described the condition of the film industry in Indonesia and how to penetrate the ASEAN market for Indonesian films. Based on some film which sells in the ASEAN market is themed movie love story and the film has a very strong local content
